About this place
The signature cheese-stuffed hamburger steak is one of many Japanese-Western dishes at Gusto Ikebukuro Eki Higashiguchi-ten, alongside sizzling-griddle plates and lighter meals. The sides range from oven-baked corn, with its sweetness and creamy mayonnaise, to pizzas baked until fragrant, including Margherita and mayonnaise-and-corn varieties. There’s plenty to choose from, whether you want a small side or a dish to share.
For a heartier meal, the menu includes a mixed grill with hamburger steak, cut steak, Karaage Yoshi fried-chicken set meals and Japanese-style set meals. Other options include Kanazawa Black Curry supervised by Go! Go! Curry, fresh pasta, chilled noodles and udon, offering a range of main dishes to suit your appetite.
The restaurant is on the 7 floor of Takamura Building, close to Ikebukuro Station’s east exit. Take the lift up to a dining room arranged mainly with booth-style tables; the drink bar is in the centre of the floor. Open from 7:00 in the morning until 23:00 at night, it’s convenient for breakfast, lunch or a casual evening meal.
